Travel & Events

Our dedicated Facebook and Instagram pages for Your Exclusive Portugal have a legion of followers, keen to find the perfect venues for special occasions. We also offer a party planning and wedding planning service. We can tailor a stunning event for both the business and consumer client. We owned a leading catering company in Portugal for 10 years, and in that time looked after many famous individuals and business executives, and planned and delivered a huge number of high-end events. We specialise in venues that offer the WOW factor, or need that extra something. We personally visit each venue and have exclusive arrangements with the owners and agents who represent them. We can simply venue-find for you, plan and let you take over for the actual stay, or we can accompany and be an onsite planner if you require.

Journalism

Paul was born to write and has launched and edited leading titles in the travel, meetings, incentives and luxury lifestyle markets. He has travelled the world with his work and has had some amazing adventures. Kate’s passion for food and travel is all-consuming and this has led both of them on an extraordinary journey, as varied as writing a contemporary travel guide book to Oxford, running a PR company with a client list comprised of five-star hotels and 2* Michelin restaurants, organising a gourmet Pop-Up summer festival, and the eventual purchase of an exclusive catering company. All of these required website development and copywriting skills, experience that we can now pass down to new clients.

Marketing

The marketing side of our business is bespoke, with a focus on results. Marketing is about more than simply generating leads; it is about generating the right leads that convert into confirmed business. Our skillset leans towards the written word and events, of course. But for all of our clients we can offer an initial audit of brand, visibility and synergy; without spending a fortune, tweaks to these areas are often the first stepping stone to creating a new path.

Part of our new path is the creation of the Food Trails brand, a local look at where to eat, sleep and stay, and an important promotional tool for councils, tourism boards, business groups and event organisers to put their location on the map. Our combined experience gives us the knowledge and ability to identify and review the key participants, and offer a product which will raise awareness and create revenue for those involved.
